Life Safety Enterprises Inc. (LSE) provides a number of safety training and educational programs with superior support services in the industrial/business organizations, medical professionals, outpatient surgery centers, and fire/emergency services personnel industries. OSHA and the Joint Commission require employees of medical facilities to complete safety training on an annual basis and they require comprehensive documentation be maintained. Failure to meet these standards results in severe monetary penalties and the loss of accreditation. Our goal is to assist these facilities in meeting safety code requirements.
Classes provided include: · Certification in American Heart Association (AHA) programs—these training provides each employee with a self-reliant confidence to assist victims that may be injured or ill. · BLS (Basic Life Support) · ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) · PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) · Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic First-Aid
· Blood-borne Pathogens—Education to increase the awareness of the real dangers of transferable diseases and the answer to, “Just what does ‘Universal Precautions’ actually mean?”
Training Programs include: · Emergency Preparedness—Comprehensive readiness plans for Fire. Weather, Civil Disturbance, establishing and training ERT (Emergency Response Team ) personnel, etc. · Evacuation Procedures—Custom designed evacuation plans and mapping that complies with OSHA and NFPA requirements · Evacuation Drills—Scheduled, monitored drills to ensure the understanding and effectiveness of partial or total facility evacuation and accountability. · Mock Code Drills—Specialized Drills presented in scenario form to simulate real time emergency response. This scenario is monitored and reviewed for continuous improvement. · Fire Extinguisher Training—Live fire or simulated fire extinguisher training is available and is designed for your particular hazards and environment. · Disaster Drills and Fire Drills—Programs scheduled on a regular basis to maintain a high level of awareness and responsiveness in the case of an emergency.
· Hazardous Material (HazMat) Awareness Level—First responder awareness training designed for recognition and education to limit exposures and reduce damages or injuries. · Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) - Training for proper usage and implementation of personal protective equipment, i.e. Fall protection, Ladder safety, eye and ear protection. |
